We want your order to reach you quickly, safely, and with the same care we put into choosing the piece itself. This page outlines how our shipping works, what to expect, and how to get help if something doesn't go to plan.

Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed before 12:00 PM Hong Kong Time on a business day will typically begin processing the same day; orders placed later, on weekends, or on public holidays will begin processing the next business day.
Once your order has been packed and handed to our courier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to follow your parcel.
Shipping Origin
All orders are shipped from our fulfilment centre in Hong Kong. We pack each order ourselves, with protective wrapping appropriate to the item — ceramics, glass, and fragile pieces are double-boxed where necessary to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
Destinations
We currently ship to addresses within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. We are not yet able to ship to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses or to PO boxes for larger items. If you have a delivery question about a specific address type, please contact us before ordering.
Shipping Rates
We charge a single flat rate of $12.99 USD per order for all shipments to the United States, regardless of order size or weight. This rate covers fully tracked, expedited international shipping from Hong Kong to your door.
The shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you confirm payment — no hidden fees, no surprises after purchase.
From time to time we offer free shipping promotions over a certain order value. Any active promotion will be displayed clearly on our homepage and at checkout.
Delivery Times
Our standard shipping service to the United States takes 2 to 4 business days from the date of dispatch. This is an expedited international service with full tracking. Total time from order placement to delivery is typically 3 to 6 business days when including order processing time.
Delivery times may occasionally be longer due to:
- Customs clearance procedures
- Severe weather or natural events
- Public holidays in Hong Kong, the United States, or transit countries
- Carrier delays or operational issues outside our control
- Remote or rural delivery addresses
We monitor every shipment and will proactively reach out if we see a significant delay on your order.
Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
Because orders ship from Hong Kong to the United States, they may be subject to U.S. customs review. The vast majority of our orders fall under the U.S. de minimis threshold and clear customs without any additional charges to the customer.
In the rare event that duties, taxes, or customs handling fees apply, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost shown at checkout. We are not able to predict or pre-pay these charges, as they are determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the point of import.
Tracking Your Order
You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Tracking information typically updates within 24 hours of dispatch. You can also find tracking links inside your account on our website if you created one at checkout.
If your tracking has not updated in 5 or more business days, please contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.
Incorrect Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. We are not able to change a shipping address once an order has been dispatched. If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible — if the order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to correct it.
Orders returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer may incur a reshipping fee equal to the original $12.99 shipping charge.
Lost or Damaged Packages
We take great care in packing every order, but on rare occasions damage in transit can occur. If your parcel arrives damaged, please:
- Take clear photos of the outer packaging and the damaged item
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@the-secret-spark.net
- Include your order number in the email
We will arrange a replacement or full refund — whichever you prefer — at no cost to you.
If your tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours and household members, and look for a delivery notice. If you still cannot locate the parcel after 48 hours, contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
